History: Lunacy of Duke Venomania (Novel), Mikulia

Personality: Mikulia is a childish person. She usually appears cheerful and happy, and is also quite naïve, tending to sometimes speak in third person. Her laid-back personality can make others think that she's stupid, and she's been called like that for years, especially by her parents.

This is mainly because, before being born, Mikulia was possessed by the Demon of Sloth, and this influenced her personality a lot. In fact, this influence from the Demon was the only thing that saved her from Venomania's spell.

Raised in a rural environment, Mikulia doesn't know many things about the outside world. She dreams with being rescued by a prince, which is the main reason why Venomania can seduce her.

Though she's not under the spell of Venomania, she followed him willingly, and she is happy considering him her prince, and making friends with other girls in the harem. But, despite her cheerful and positive nature, she has a dislike (and some envy) of some aristocrats, as confesses Lukana about Gumina, because she thinks that they wouldn't understand each other because of their different backgrounds and experiences.

She's also quite a simple girl, and one of her biggest wishes is to have a doll to play with because of the fact her family never could afford that kind of toy. She can have drastic mood-swings, from being sulking to energetic in a couple of seconds.

Mikulia's main motivation is to reach happiness. This wish would, eventually, take her to the extremes of doing literally anything for it. This ideal happiness is what she feels with Venomania, falling in love with him because he was someone who made her happy, taking her away from her unloving family, treating her well, giving her pretty things and doting her.

She also gets along with many girls of the harem, especially with Lukana; she sees the older girl as someone who she can completely trust, and doesn't doubt on listening to her, and their relationship and interactions resemble to those between siblings.

The Demon of Sloth gives her a bit of lazyness and is what probably makes her ability to reason to be slow, which gives her that air of naïve and silly girl. Because she was possessed before being born, its influence into her grew for 18 years, to the point that if even the Demon is exorcised, a part of its essence will remain in her blood.

Abilities: She doesn't have supernatural abilities at all, but the influence of the Demon of Sloth makes her capable of understanding beings that communicate via magic, and also makes her immune to be influenced by other beings (like the other Demons of Sin). Is really talented in craffts, though.

Sample:

Today, Lord Venomania and I.R. have to go out for a few days. So Lord Venomania leaves the mansion in care of Lukana, and I.R. her body in the care of Mikulia. After kissing Gumina, Lord Venomania and I.R. go.

I.R.'s body is cold and still. She's also beautiful, so is surprising she's not part of the harem. With her white hair and eyelashes, her pale skin and her black robes, she almost...

She looked like a pretty doll.

Mikulia goes to the garden to cut some pretty flowers, and takes them back to the mansion. She takes the pretty jewelry and the make-up that is in their chambers of the basement too, and sits I.R.'s body in the throne that Lord Venomania uses. Then, she proceeds to taking her hood away, and undoes the braids. I.R. has a really pretty hair. It's a shame she always hides it under that cape.

Then, she starts putting the flowers in the hair, as styling it on a cute way. When she's finally satisfied, she starts with the jewelry.

Lukana's words take her by surprise. But Mikulia sees nothing bad on this.

--But she's pretty~ Why would she be upset? Lukana's answer makes her smile to fall.

--Yeah, Mikulia never could afford a doll…--mumbled with sadness; but then, a bright smile appeared on her face--But you know, back home, I only had rice to plow and tend to. Here, there are a lot of pretty things.--She then took a brush, with the intent of painting I.R.'s lips-- That's why Mikulia is really happy right now!

But before she could touch the body's lips, she felt a hand in her shoulder, and, despite her complaining, the scary voice in Lukana's words made her drop the brush.
